The Safety Sensors are Blurry: Look at the bottom of your tracks for the two little sensor "eyes." If one is blinking or dirty, give it a quick wipe and point them directly at each other until the light stays solid.

Why won’t my door open?
4
A Broken Spring: Look right above the door. See a big metal spring that looks split in two? If it's broken, the door is way too heavy to lift. Step away and let the Ribbit team handle it—those springs are under a lot of pressure!
A Failing Opener: If the motor makes a horrible grinding noise or absolutely nothing happens when you press the button (and the outlet has power), your opener might just be tuckered out and ready for retirement.
The Trolley is Disconnected: Check that red emergency rope hanging from your opener track. If someone pulled it, the motor will hum but the door won't move! Simply push the lever on the track back into place and run the opener until it clicks back in.
